LINK: working for nothing
So, that chap Marcus Westbury wrote this article - and I suggest others might be interested as well:
Working for nothing: a lack of funding, or something more questionable?
click and head on over to The Age.
Do let me know if you think anything of it.

PISS (light)
this is a still image from an 'experimental' film I made - called PISS(light). The film was created by taking a roll of super 8 that had never been in a camera and immersing it in a jar of my own urine for year. The jar was sealed an dleft in a dark place. The jat itself, with the urine and the film in it's plastic canister was exhibited as the end of my honours year at the School Of Fine Art in Hobart. It smelt pretty bad on removal, but the experiment worked - the chemisty in the jar did something, etching into the emulsion. It looks quite different when it moves but this still is interesting in itself. I don't know that I will put the film itslef on the web just as yet.
The film itself has been screened to the public rarely, but it's something I am rather pleased with.
